a: A old book produced in London by ‘His Majesty’s Stationary Office’ the Air Ministries ‘Manual of Air Navigation Vol. 1’ used to teach new pilots. Air Publication 1234. The book has a heavy blue front and back cover with a cord threaded through the spine as a fastener. Three newspaper clippings are inserted inside the front cover of the book.
