Description
Barkcloth beater, slightly unusual in appearance. Head has 4 flat surfaces, with grooves carved on 3 sides. It has a hole drilled through the handle with a split on the opposite side of the handle. # See Artefact File

The identification of the wood as being kauri was determined by hand specimen examination only. Wood not sampled or tested. #see artefact file.
