Side view of the memorial. Paddocks in the background. On the memorial it says, "In proud & loving memory of the men of Paterangi who fell fighting for their country in the Great War. 1914-1918. R.H. Gordon, K.C. Johnson, W.A. Macky, R.N. Milne, H. Munro, F.L. Ryburn, A.R. Scott, H. Garmonsway. Greater love hath no man han this, that a man lay down his life for his friends, John 15."
