Description
Lace overskirt from a 1915 wedding dress. The lace is gathered into a narrow silk waistband with both hand tacking and machine stitching evident. The hemline features a 41cm floral border with a scalloped edge, while a smaller floral motif is repeated over the rest of the lace.
